yeah, baby! Oteil is the MONSTER on bass! His brother Kofi is amazing as well on keys and flute.

They're a Georgia/South East based band, but I hope y'all get to see them sometime. Havent heard of Sean O'Rourke on drums, since he replaced Lee Venters (Also from Raleigh), and Jeff Sipe (Who is AMAZING)

Wow, that's interesting, benny... & yes, Sipes IS a good drummer, & I dig ARU]... so a guy named Sean O'Rourke is ARU's drummer now? ...& i didn't realize Lee played w them... he used to live/gig here by me locally for several yrs, back in the '80's.... people use to confuse him for Vinnie [because he looked like him at that time, superficially; lean, moustache, bi-level haircut ["mullet"], big-frame glasses, & all [img]wink.gif[/img] ; but he was a little taller]... Lee was even at the infamous '84 VC/Tim Landers clinic, & Vinnie says to him, "so YOU'RE the guy everybody thinks is ME!" [img]tongue.gif[/img]
How long was Lee w/ ARU... & do u know what he's doing now?
